Providing prompt service at a reasonable price
We presently maintain offices in East Hartford Connecticut; Boston Massachusetts; and Princeton New Jersey. With these strategic locations, Alert Scientific is able to provide prompt service – at reasonable rates – anywhere from New England through the Mid-Atlantic region. Alert Scientific’s regional service centers offer our clients the choice of repairs performed either on-site or in one of our shops. In most cases, we can offer temporary use of one of our loaner ultra-low temperature freezers during extensive repairs.
We service many types of scientific equipment
Types of equipment that Alert Scientific services range from ultra-low temperature freezers (-80°C to -150°C), red cell and blood plasma freezers, lab refrigerators, cryobaths, CO2 incubators, cryostats, and lyophilizers to various types of environmental chambers, centrifuges, ovens, distillation systems, spectrophotometers and other types of meters, hardness testers, microscopes, and balances. Aside from maintenance, calibration, and repair service, ASI technicians install CO2 and LN2 backup systems, equipment monitoring/alarm systems, and voltage regulators.
We also provide:
- Electrical safety certifications (such as current leakage, ground load integrity, and receptacle integrity verification)
- Complete installation and start-up of distillation systems, environmental rooms, walk-in refrigerators and freezers
- Complete mapping and profiling services (CO2 tension, relative humidity, temperature, and/or speed).

We use only the highest quality tools and our diagnostic equipment is certified annually to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
